You can answer this question by making a couple of simple changes to the title of the thread:

    Most overpriced? Bruery

$13 6-packs isn't overpriced for the quality of Rogue?

And there are plenty of better and cheaper bombers here too.

Hm...that would be, I suppose. I've never seen anything close to that here. They're one of the only breweries I can consistently find $4.99 bombers from. The hefe is all over Ohio for $3.99. They do really seem to have crazy variation in their prices, I'll admit.

Lol, hand-bottled (if I'm not mistaken. yes, I know they have a new bottling line/brewery now) from a tiny brewery.

Not to mention they self-distribute to as far away as DSM which really can't be an efficient use of gas (which you might have noticed is expensive).

Yeah it does sound that way. Bombers all run $6.49 or so here. Not terrible pricing but I can spend under $5 on a Lagunitas bomber or Stone bomber so never going to get Rogue. The 6-pack pricing is just nuts when I can get Lagunitas for $8.49 or Stone for $9.99.

True. I'll take Lagunitas Lucky 13 at $5.99 here all day, and Stone brings out its biggest and best for $7.99. I don't think Rogue's stuff can really compare to that.

So now that almost every top tier craft brewery has been metioned ill throw in my 2 cents

Stone on west coast is what, 5-6$ a bomber while I can only get it for 10$ on the east coast as well as being 16+ for a 6pack...Overpriced IMO specially for enjoy by

    Overpriced vs. Expensive??

I will end with the west coast motto.....Its not to expensive, your to cheap!!

this has to be sarcasm, right? $9 for a six pack of Sierra is a bargain.

It very much depends on what market you are in. I have seen Anchor Steam for $6.99 elsewhere. Here its like $10.99 which is a joke. Stone is less than $10/6 here and $13 elsewhere. It just depends.

north coast is great but their 4 packs range from 10.99- 16.99, at least from what i've seen. six point is also up there, never seen less then 10.99 for a four pack

goose island's 4 packs of their limited beers are expensive, I'm not sure if i'd call them overpriced as matilda and sofie are truly great beers but they border the line.

I think this is the most sensible definition.

For example, a lot of people are saying Bruery isn't overpriced because their quality is high, but some us us live in areas where we can get that level of quality for much cheaper, so it's overpriced to us. In Oregon there are too many local alternatives. All of Upright's special barrel-aged beers are literally half the price of Bruery's special beers, so there's no contest as to which one I buy.

Cascade is another good example where even though locally we get all the special releases, they priced themselves out of the market. If you look at their web site, there is a ridiculous 10 bottles for sale at the Barrel House with 4 bottle limits. The last time Vlad the Impaler went on sale it was $22 with a 2 bottle limit and sold in a day or two. Now it's $30 and it's been turding the shelves for months. I don't doubt there's many markets that would still snatch up all the bottles at those prices. But in Oregon, there are so many cheaper alternatives for sours no one is biting.
