Someone (thanks Steve) just dropped off some at the store. It's open now, suuuper fresh, and tasting good.

Just picked some up from the General Store and had it on tap, this is my first time having it, and it's absolutely fantastic. I almost can't say if I like it or Hopslam better, very similar yet different beers! It looks like they had about half a pallet left of cases when I stopped in.

I like Oracle better hands down. In my opinion, Hopslam and Oracle are two totally different beers. Hopslam is all about hop flavor, very low IBUs and tons of late hop additions. Oracle is much more one note, heavy bitterness, more akin to the brash West Coast stylings.

Yeah, just not sure exactly when. And I hear not that much is hitting Chicago either...so it should be interesting.

Exactly. Hopslam tastes like it's trying to seduce you. Oracle is just interested in clubbing you over the head and dragging your lifeless corpse away.

They seem to be timing it perfect at the general store. Oracle bottle date was the 9th of this month and they went and cellared the expedition stout almost 2 years. Tried an expo tonight and it was the best thing I've had in my mouth in awhile

Just picked some at @ Williams in Ann Arbor. They have it behind the counter, $3.75 a bottle. They only had a case to start with, though.

'Both so good it's hard to pick between Hopslam and Oracle, but I'll take Oracle in a pinch. Too bad we can't get any in Illinois.

You can get Oracle in Illinois, it's just hard to find. I picked up two bottles yesterday.

It WAS available at Bottles and Cans, Beer Temple and a couple suburban Binnys that I saw so far. All gone now tho. Other than that I got nothing.

I ran into it Thursday at Binny's Grand completely by accident, was a nice surprise.

I gotta say Im not huge of Oracle overall though. Its much better on tap and I would always rather have Hopslam.
Oddly enough it reminded me of Hoptimum but less smooth and harder to acquire.

I saw two bottles at a shop nearby me (Lake County). Not really my thing so I passed by.
