Pumpkin beer recommendations?

Well, you are the seasonal beer lover.

 

Starr Hill Boxcarr Pumpkin Porter

 

Schlafly and Lakefront Pumpkin Lager are my all-time favorites, one hefty, warming pumpkin and one easy drinking pumpkin lager!

 

I really like the Whole Hog Pumpkin. I can't wait for the barrel-aged version!

 

When is the BA version happening?

Do they exist? I love pumking, but am curious if a straight up pumpipa exists. Has any one tried to dry hop a straight up pumpkin beer with a french press or anything like that?

 

If it hasn't been done already, you know its only a matter of time before it happens. Mikkeler tried a coffee IPA, although the reviews say that there's no real coffee flavor.

Elysian out of Seattle makes a ton of pumpkin beers and they made a pumpkin IPA last year, but I never tried it.

 

I think Sixpoint Autumnation closely resembles what you're looking for.

 

What about a Pumpkin Saison or a Pumpkin Vienna Lager?

Stone did a coffee IPA and it was awesome.

 

Aardwolf did a coffee IPA, too. It was awesome

 

North Peak Hooligan is a hoppy pumpkin ale and has been called a "pumpkin IPA"..

I agree, except for I didn't get any pumpkin/spices at all out of that beer..

 

When did you have it? They changed the recipe starting this year and removed the pumpkin/spice, not sure if its been released this year though..

 

I got pumpkin spices, it just wasn't graham crackery.
