Just curious if some solid offers like Abyss, Marshal Zukhov, bb4d are enough for this one?

Abyss was fairly widely available in Texas, so that might not work, but I'd say that offer with a similar bottle could probably get done. I was able to trade my Double Pecan Porters for a fairly wide range of things.

    Probably not....

2010 there were only ~130 bottles which were shipped to two stores and sold out pretty much before they were open.
2011 there were ~1200 bottles, but every store had a 2 bottle max limit (if not 1) and it never made it out of Austin. It was sold out in about 48 hours except for 1/2 off the radar stores that were a pain to drive to.
2012 there was about ~2400 bottles, but again, 2 bottle max limit at most stores and about 20 cases hit Houston.

This beer gets spread very thin and usual sells out within a few hours of someone tweeting the location of a store that has it. It also jumped up in price this year to 15-18$. I didn't buy any bottles this year because I had to work on Tuesday like most people.

Last year I traded 1 bottle for a 2005 (sticker) LP Kriek, 1 for a 2009 Berserker (my Bruery trustee sent this, I asked for nothing specific), and then I had an amazing trade partner offer up a DF 2004' magnum for 2 bottles of 512.
The other bottles I had were all given away in BIFs and I didn't drink a single one.

There are hardly any "rare" or limited releases in Texas that other people on BA care about, so most Texans are aiming for a specific few bottles once they finally get the right trade ammo. I hope this gives you some insight to what it might take.

Thanks xpimp for the reply, I do have some ammo but not sure if I'm willing to unload for the porter yet. Very helpful in educating a relative newcomer!

Something of the rarity of Hunahpu's, DL, Darkness etc. would probably get it done. I unfortunately don't have any to trade since Houston did not get much and I had to go out town. Let us Texan's have this one release where we have some good enough ammo to land some limited bottles!

I have been able to get all of the beers you mention with Texas beers.

I've landed Darkness, LeBleu, Gilgamesh, Red Poppy, Rosso E Marrone, Temptation, Gratitude, and some Stillwater goodies from Freetail releases alone. That said, I always try to view TX beer as something that's produced for local enjoyment and not just trade bait. I didn't land any (512) bottles, but I enjoyed the hell out of it on draft on multiple occasions, and I'm absolutely okay with that.
