    Ah, my mistake.

I'm totally pumped for this year. Especially because I think I did it completely wrong last year. Arrived at around 10:00, picked up my bottles in group B, had a few beers from the truck outside next to the one serving hot dogs, and left at around 3:00, I think. Didn't know anything was being served in the tap room, didn't bring any beer to drink/share, so I didn't get to try anything that anyone else brought, and I missed out on the festivities the night before because I stayed in Chicago. I was totally unprepared. Hopefully this year will be a lot better, staying at the Hampton on Friday, bringing beer, have new knowledge for Saturday, should be good.

On a completely different note. With all the tickets still available on eBay, with multiple days left on the sale, does anyone else wonder, how many tickets never get used?

I've been wondering this myself. I don't think it's a glaring amount or noticeable amount. I would imagine that the people that don't end up selling their's for obnoxious prices might actually go buy their allotment so they can still try to make some money.

True, as long as they are local, but some are as far away as California. Even if they sell, I would be worried about them showing up on time.

haha, its a valid arguement. But having gone to fests in the past, I want to feel at my best at DLD because I know how fast it can turn into a shit show sharing good beers beforehand.. I have a history of yelling vulgar things out the window as we're leaving. But if Sir pschul4 wants to crash with you guys, have fun taking care of him.

Ya, but I had a CBS in my grasp. Not my fault some low life liquor store managers wouldn't sell me one.

I have a morning ritual that I need to share, that will help you recover. I call it "the terminator". First I crouch down in the shower in the classic "naked terminator traveling through time" pose. With my eyes closed I crouch there for a minute, visualizing either Arnold or the guy from the second movie (not the chick in the third one because that one sucked) and I start to hum the terminator theme. Then I slowly rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me to proceed through my day as an emotionless, cyborg badass. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It ruins the fantasy.I found tonight that it is more successful to progressively humm it louder as you perform the ritual.

I can't believe it's only a couple days away. I'll be bringing my shiny new Dogfish Head Randall Jr along with some leaf hops, bourbon soaked oak, soaked cocoa nibs and coffee. I think I'll be starting the day with a bourbon Oaked Darkness with coffee. Hopfully I'll get to run into some of you to share my Randall experiments with

Bank on 2012 Dark Lord, Vanilla Bean Dark Lord, and Oak Aged (Bourbon Barrel) Dark Lord. Outside of that, last year it seemed the stuff in the brewpub was fairly regular FFF offerings. Of course, Zombie Dust had just been released (as ZD) so that was pouring all day and was a big hit. I wouldn't be surprised if Baller Stout is on tap as well.

But again, this is all just conjecture. Nobody really knows until they post something about it.

just so you know unless you're like the first group through the gate you're gonna end up spending your entire day waiting in line to get in the brewpub. Very limited capacity, everyone who knows about it wants in. I've never waited myself but know that people last year got in line at like 11 and got in the pub after 4
