If it tastes anything like what came in bottles, I won't be buying any.

Hopefully they learned from their mistake and fixed it.

I would be nice if they'd buy back the product on shelves as well. So much of that crap around ATX that noone is buying.

The recipe is the same as the beloved pro am.

I hope so! I loved Pro-Am '12 so much! What really made it phenomenal was the price point, which I hope remains the same.

Yeah. That's the same reaction I'd expect from them.

    "Better luck next time?"

I'm sure off-premises craft beer stores will be thrilled to get more in, lol.

Damn.. if you're that mad about it maybe you should write them a letter... I think its fantastic beer.. good thing we're all entitled to our own opinions...

It's not so much that it's horrible. I've had worse. They just clearly misrepresented this to many people as "the return of Pro-Am 2012!" for months before release and fell flat on their face creating a beer that many recognized as either a brewing error or different recipe. Clearly of they're now telling people "it's the 2012 recipe" they misled some people. And that's never been addressed.

Valkyrie tasted to me like the mediocre IPA that I've had from so many breweries, both in the bottle and on tap (I forced myself to drink both just to be sure). Malty and bitter with no character.

Take that as you will. FWIW, I bought around 2 cases in total of Pro-Am 2012 when it was out. Valkyrie aint no Pro Am 2012. At least not right now.

A letter? Believe me, they're aware.

If this is Pro-Am 2012 and the same price-point, I'll be buying it by the case.
