Who's going? Should I expect a ton of traffic due to the Bears game if I decide to drive in on I-90? Any idea what beers will be there?

beers will be a mystery until you get there, they really never post anything. If you're so inclined, when I get there at 11 because I'm cool, I can post one here if you wish but wouldn't you rather open your presents christmas morning?

As for traffic, being that most Bears fans get to the game at 8am, I dont assume traffic will be an issue.

Thats kind of what I was thinking for traffic, just didnt know if there were any lingering effects later in the morning. I dont mind waiting to see what beers are there, wasn't sure if anyone talks to any of the breweries before these and finds anything out. Im cool with surprises.

I am most likely selling my ticket if anyone is interested. I'm asking what I paid ~ $35

i'll be there. was awesome last year.

only thing you can be sure of is that goose will bring the goods. i don't know any specific beers, but i would bet good money that the new fulton and wood "two more weeks" will be there (entirely speculation, based on nothing but release timing).

It would be fair to expect Halia to show up.

how has anyone not mentioned the ice cream pairing (gelato?). Whatever the hell it was, ice cream pairing first, then worry about the beers available.

Looking forward to it! Had a great time last year. Yes, the sorbet pairing with Scully or Gillian whatever it's called is really good.

anyway, i am home now and while i would have to review my notes for a more definitive assessment, most surprising was transient artisan ales out of lansing, il. their focus seemed to be on 'belgian styles with american hops' and all of them were done very well. if they do this well blending american hops with non-american yeast traditions, i'm excited for what they may be able to do without the american hop crutch...
