Oh don't think I mentioned it but, I am really glad you included the Almanac beer, I've only heard good stuff about them.

 

I'm glad you liked the haul! If I recall correctly (and the label is the color I think it is) I sent a farmer's resrve 3... if so, I just had one the other night and it was quite good. Very clean flavor and lighter than rr sours, so any yeast showed through more strongly, but a very nice brew. The strawberry on the one I had was weaker than I had hoped, so hopefully yours has a bit more. If not, it's still an awesome sour.

Not surprised by your ipa pick, but the stout surprised me (but damn I love some abyss) and the wildcard was just a tough call all around.

 

Also the Pliny should also be very fresh (8/15?). I had some difficulty hitting "wants" and Blind Pig has been super scarce lately, but I am glad everything came together nicely.

The stout pick would have been different, except I recently acquired 4 of the other one. The next guy will prob be happy about that! Speaking about next guy; his FedEx transport days are the same as mine were.

 

Thanks! And yeah, BP has been really tough lately. I had some 7/26 bottles set back because it was on shan's wants and no other IPA I could hit was, but got the miraculous "bottled today" BP on shipment day. So if you want BP, my fridge has 2 of 'em, but they're getting old fast...

And Shan, yeah... my decision to give up my bottle of that stout was shaded by knowledge that both you and one other person downstream had it as a want. It will find a good home.

 

Damn JD, I'm really sorry I didn't get it off my list quick enough.

 

Haha no worries; I definitely didn't mean that in a negative or passive aggressive way if that's how it came off... just that if you decided against it, that I knew someone would be happy to have it. I have a regular trading partner in that region and can get another bottle if I really want to tick it.

Question for the folks that still haven't received a box (don't think there is many); Would you rather me send on tomorrow (Wed) or wait till I get one of your wants and send Thurs? I don't have access to any other of your wants however, I think you'll be happy with the goods.

Don't mean to hijack, but a BIF within a BIF NBO is informally happening over in the SWTFYW BIF thread with a format similar to this, excepting that it is 12, take 6. I thought some of you guys might want in on it. It could be very enormous/long, but should be awesome nonetheless.
