SWTFYW Hints and Hauls!!!

I'm in. I'm okay with a bit of a delay before anyone ships to me. I shall BM you shortly.

I'd be down as one of the "mid to late" recipients if it goes on and on. I'm dumping 65k into a new business so I'm just a wee bit short on funds.

 

Sound should. Ill put you on the list as a late target.

 

Ok, here's the rules in their entirety. Sorry for doing this late. Got a bit caught up in things.

• The first shipper (me) will send out a box with 12 bottles in a 12 bottle shipper.
  • In keeping with SWTFYW, these bottles can be a variety of bottles, shelf turds, whaelz, or anything in between.
  • The bottles must be between 12oz to 22oz (Seven-Fifties will fall in this range too). If sending cans, stack them 2 high in one spot. Cans only count as one bottle.
• When you receive the box, select 6 of the 12 bottles or cans in the shipper to keep.
  • Replace the six you took with six new ones.
  • Post a picture of the six you took from the box along with the six you are not taking. Do not post what you are sending as replacements (takes the fun out of it).
  • This is SWTFYW. While you can SWTFYW, don't forget about beer karma.
• If a piece of swag is included in the box and you want to take it, go for it but make sure you replace it with another piece of swag.
  • If you decide not to take it, that's fine too. The next person in line has the option of taking it.
• A list of targets will be included in the box. When you receive the box, please select a target at random from the list, cross them off the target list, and ship the box to your selected target.
  • As some participants want to be later down the list, please try to keep this in mind (their names will be annotated on the list).
• After you receive your box, please do all you can to replace and send out the box to the next target within a weeks timeframe. If you are having trouble meeting this timeline, just shoot me a message or let everyone in the thread now via post.
• The first sender (me) will be the last in line to receive the box. As there will be 12 bottles in the box, I will select 6 and then create an LIF to give away the other 6. It's only fair. Or, we can just start a new BIF within a BIF within a BIF within a box, include the 6 bottles, and keep this going forever

For those that want to join this late, just shoot me a message with your info and I will message the current sender with your info to add to the list. I'll probably have a cutoff for joining but we'll figure that out later.

Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but if it's a 12 bottle shipper, they could ALL go in the box

With the number of participants we got, late round is around Christmas time, maybe later.

i can be one of the first ones then as it sounds like more people are looking to be late.

Filling up a lot faster than I thought. At 20 now. Gonna have to make a cutoff soon or this may go on for a few years. You guys ok with cutting it off at 30 or by the time I ship, whichever comes first? 30 should bring us to sometime next summer.

 

Stick yourself somewhere in the middle and let this keep going until it dies out on its own.
Last person has to shut out the lights and LIF off the 6 bottles they don't want.

 

I don't mind being the last person. And are you saying you don't want to keep this thread going until the end of time?! :O

 

Would it be more fun to post a pic of all 12 bottles, but not tell which you took and which are continuing on? That way all 12 bottles are essentially a surprise for the next target.
