Just a quick update with a full update tomorrow. Three more people have signed up. We're sitting at 25 so far. Assuming that it will take approximately 1 week to ship and about 3 days to replace beer and get to the shipping center, this BIF within a BIF is going to run for approximately 36 weeks (give or take a few). It could get longer if more people join late.

Pretty sure that makes this the longest running BIF in BA history. Maybe we should ask to have a Hall of Fame BIF list made so we can sit atop that list.

 

Already in the top 5 in views and responses, will easily take the top spot in both is this goes on another year and a half!?!?!

I assume we'll be giving clues as to who we pick as a target as well as what we've added to the box?
Also, what's the over/under on how long until the first person forgets to put the target list back in the box?

 

Also, could you just change me to a ship anytime? It may add a bit of stress to be one of the first but c'mon...if someone wants to ship to me who am I to say no?!?!?

 

I don't mind shipping early.

Yes, definitely give clues as to who your next target is and what 6 bottles you added to the box.

Over/under should be around 10. If someone loses the list, let me know and I'll shoot you a message/email with the list and addresses for all targets to include in the box.

Also, just a reminder, pick whatever target you want (schedule for target permitting based on the list), cross that target's name off the list, and ship the box to the target. Rinse and repeat.

And remember to post all 12 bottles that arrived and the six you are taking. Replenish with another 6 bottles but don't let us know what the new 6 are. Just provide hints. The next target will post a haul with the 12 bottles (including the new 6). Rinse and repeat.

 

I thought we decided on not saying which we take and just posting the total haul?

 

That makes more sense to me, too--that way the next target doesn't know any of what they're getting, rather than 6 out of 12.

Also, Haywire, I guess I can be moved to the ship whenever column...my baby is due in 3 weeks (give or take some days) so either way, I will not be able to ship the last week of September or the first 2 weeks of October.

This way, I am sure I will not have my porch destroyed for a while and it will give me time to settle down with the newborn and recoupe some funds to be able to send out a nicer box down the road.

 

i think the first box is going to stoutseth.

 

I was thinking about that. I will and will not deny that I have thought about it but figure that he doesn't need to be first but at least within the first few targets. So, I may or may not look elsewhere for my first target.

Btw, it was gonna be IPAFan but based on his post, probably not anymore. Don't need him having to deal with a broken porch and a newborn baby.

Sorry to throw you for a loop Haywire...(not that loops aren't your specialty!) you are correct...I cannot do porch repair and take care of a newborn at the same time. All in all, I will find time to ship out regardless of when the box arrives to me.
