Damn!!!! Popped my bottle tonight, seriously good. The barrel flavor comes out just right. I'm usually a 1and done guy on anniversary releases like this, but I'm going hunting for more.

Gabriel's San Marcos will probably get some Wednesday, if anyone wants to make the trip.

Welcome! Are you gonna make it to the Freetail release?

Thanks! I am excited about BA! I spent all my money and the Atrial release so I wont be able to go to Freetail this time around. Hopefully I will be able to snag a bottle of the Kriek, though.

If you happen to find a few extra bucks, I would really try to make it to Freetail for the release. The Freetail bottle shares are amazing and you would probably get to meet half of the TX BAs there......up to you to judge if thats a good thing or not. :sunglasses:

Im sure you can get $30 together. But you don't have to buy the beer. Just come to the tasting. I'm on the north side of NB, I can give you a ride if you want.

Wow, sounds like El Paso finally was better than Houston/Austin. Specs had no bottle limit, and some may still be on the shelf.

I walked past some on the shelf today in San Antonio, not a fan this year. The past couple of years, I loved it and bought several bottles. This year. ...meh.....

Yeah, this year it's apparently now a shelf turd in SA when last year we got shut out. Glad I bought 6 via mail order at $22 a pop thinking we'd get shut out again. o__O

... anyway though, I thought this years was better. Even had to open a XXIV to prove it to myself.

Cool! Thanks for the offer. That is super generous considering you don't know me! But, if I go I will probably be making a day of it in San Antonio afterwards. I will have my wife DD
