    Thoughts?

I bet it does help with lines but how will one choose which session according to the beers available at that session time when the list hasn't been created yet. They are on sale this Friday the 13th.

    Interesting.....

I think most people will be happy with the shorter lines but as someone who in years past has shown up 40 minutes before doors opened and hung out for at least 5 hours or so I'm not crazy about having a time limit and I worry about missing out on stuff that isn't on tap for my session.

There's good and bad, but the line last year was nuts. Moving to tickets means that I can convince the folks I've gone with in the past to go again this year, so that's a big plus for me. I do regret that there are certain beers that I'll miss out on, but if it means less time in line and still a good amount of time inside, then that's good news to me.

If you do not want to leave, then buy tix to two sessions.

There is an hour between sessions so you would have to leave. Getting in line a second time for a place that I was just in isn't super appealing. I mean I'll do it because the beers at this event are always so great, but it certainly isn't ideal.

Based on the lines, I feel as if this will sell out fast. Does anyone know capacity at CBC?

Is there a list of the beers they are going to have? This looks like a great event

Very stoked on there not being any lines (or much) to get in! I'm fine with the crazyness inside to get beer! Makes it more fun when everyone is in costume!

    love it.

CBC is my favorite brewery, but i never make the trek to MA for pumpkin fest primarily because i dislike crowds. barleywine fest can be manageable, anniversary parties are a notch or two over the line, and pumpkin fest is outright unacceptable (for me only)l.

knowing i can buy tickets means i may actually go this year. re: not knowing what beers are on in advance, i don't give a shit. CBC always brings more outstanding beer than i can try full pours of at these things anyway.

Planning on going for the first session! Pretty please about the advanced tickets, should be less of a cluster. Not worried about no beer list in advance, the trust is there.

I dig it ... from what I have seen and heard it makes total sense. Best of luck to them figuring out when to tap certain beers, unless they can somehow divvy up the beers evenly every session ... if not every session will be different.

I like it. My one concern is having tickets sell out at the session I want (or altogether). There can't be more than 200ish per session, but I could be wrong. I believe seating capacity inside is 150.

Yea I was wondering this also. But at the same time I'm sure there is "seating capacity" and what the fire marshall actually can allow in since the fest spills all over the bar and outside and is mostly standing room. Very, very excited.
