Ran across this post earlier this morning, does anyone have any more information on it? Also, will we be seeing more bottles coming our way?

    Is this a taproom exclusive?

Saw they just released a new beer, a saison with some lactic tartness and fruity flavors coming in at 4.2%. Sounds awesome, heading down to Denver this Thursday and going to do my best to hit TRVE up so I can check it out. Would be even better if Vexovoid is also available by then.

Don't know much about the beer, and it doesn't look like there's a release date, but it's all being sold out of the brewery last I heard from Nick. There are probably 50ish cases of it hanging out in the brewery right now, and I'm guessing that's all of it.

I can't wait to try the Grissette Farmhouse. I love rustic grains in mah Saisons. Also, they have the smoked green tea beer on, so lots to try. Growler fill TIME!

I believe it had just recently been bottled and he mentioned it would be sold out of the brewery.

It was a bit on the young side, tart, but not too tart, and very lively; as you can see from the pours.

Are they still doing that CVLT deal with growlers or can I go in and get a growler fill without having to buy their punchcard?

You have to buy into the club to get a growler. It's $66, and that gets you 6 fills for free. For the people who think the artwork on the glass is cool to collect, it's a great deal.

Is this for sale at TRVE yet? I haven't been there in a while so I will need to swing by this week either way.

They had it in boxes when I was in town, the bartender said they were waiting for the label to be approved then they could start selling this. If anyone is willing to pick up a few bottles and ship them to Texas I'd love to set up a trade.

Release will be on Saturday, September 21st. Details announced earlier today:

"Our first bottle release, and we couldn't be more proud of the results. Vexovoid is truly a thing of mysterious beauty. The perfect level of tart acidity and a champagne-like carbonation make this a wonderfully crisp and lively beer.

We'll open a half hour early (1:30pm) for CVLT members only. Non-CVLT members can also sign up for the CVLT in order to buy bottles of Vexovoid at this time. CVLT member pricing will be $15 / bottle with a 6 bottle limit per person.

At 2pm we'll open as normal and continue selling bottles. Standard pricing is $17, with a 4 bottle per person limit.
We look forward to seeing you for this momentous occasion!"

How much a fill is it after the 6 free fills are used up? Also, are you limited in how often you can get the growler filled?

No limits once your free ones are gone, and growler prices I think are listed by beer like at most breweries. I can't recall what it's cost me in the past when I've had to pay...

One more question, how many (mini) growlers do you get with the membership? 1 or 2?

(Going to be down in Denver on the a weekly basis for a while, so thinking of signing up for the CVLT. Thus my barrage of questions)

Each growler purchase is $66, but you can do multiples this time around.

You only get 1 growler per membership. I know last year you were allowed 3 per person. I think it's only 2 this year.
I'm pretty sure they'll still fill last year's growler, too.
I still need to use more of mine. When El Diablo closed, it suddenly became tougher to get my lazy ass down there.

Sounds like someone should consider a less confusing way to sell draft beer.

They'll only do 1 free fill a month, Prehistoric Dog was only $9, which is pretty good, you'd think they'd mention that before you come in for the second time that month though.

    That is good to know.

Only being able to get one free fill a month is, I do believe, a deal breaker for me. My weekly trips to Denver won't last nearly 6 months, so not sure I will be able to take advantage of the deal. Bummer.

Maybe they'd make an exception if you pleaded your case? She said it was because... but it was loud and I think at one point she just stopped talking and nodded her head, I didn't ask, didn't really care, but it would be interesting to know. Maybe they're afraid something really good will come out and everyone will use 3+ free fills? Maybe they want people to check in every month? No idea.

I doubt they would make any exceptions of my behalf. And I am probably too laissez-faire about it all to bother trying to argue for an exception in the first place.
