It's filling up quick. Probably won't get any birthday money in time to join lol.
Ah well, I manage to find great beers regardless.

So, at each tier, do you get everything below it as well? Example: does the 300 get you the dinner as well? Or just the tier you donate to?

Over 50 signups this morning/afternoon - looks like the price point was about right. Very much looking forward to sharing some of this great stuff with the Northwest region. The Passionfruit Dragonfruit Berliner currently reigns as the best beer I have ever had.

I think the way it works is you don't pay until the campaign is finished, which is in 44 days...

That's how Kickstarter and IndieGoGo work at least.

oh damn....well then I'm signing up
    thanks for the info

Hmmm...it's asking for paypal info. Can anyone confirm this won't take out funds until the campaign is finished?
I just emailed the fundraiser site support so I'll know for sure soon. I'll let you guys know what they say.

    Thanks!
I found the FAQ as well, says will only be charged when the campaign is successful.
I wonder if that means when it reaches the goal it will charge immediately, or if it will still wait until the campaign end date.
I just don't want to get burned on some insufficient funds fee or some crap because of the little details.

My experience with similar services is that it will charge when 100% is reached. If you buy in after 100% it will charge you right away.

Wishing they had a non-local club option that would get you the bottles with out some of the local perks and swag for a discounted price. As a member of 3 reserve societies (CCB, Bruery and Nightshift) I have no problem buying into the model if the price point is worth it. I understand the point of this club is to raise money to start the brewery so I would totally join if I was a local, but hard to justify as an out of stater.

I just got confirmation from the CMO:

"No one will be charged prior to the end date of the campaign, in this case Oct 25th."

I don't think so. Nothing appears to be worded that way. Most of the stuff at kickstarter seems to be that way, but they usually say it explicitly in the reward "All that plus this"

My tasting group all chipped in $60 for a chance to try all the JWB bottles that come with the Reserve Society. Well worth it.

He may get all $55k within the first 72 hours. Already above $33k within first 24 hours. Looking forward to trying his beers.

Hope so, these things tend to have a massive spike at the beginning and end of the campaigns.
I'm pretty confident he will reach the goal though.

I donated regardless, but I wondered this too. Would make perfect sense if it operated in this capacity.
