Two bottles of Siren Limoncello IPA with dinner. Luckily I just realised I have one left which is a relief!

with a healthy splash of old dishwater

M and S Single hop variety Sovereign Golden Ale
Got to give credit to Marks and Sparks
for selling full pint bottles of beer
and sourcing some competent breweries to make their beer.

Good if you like hops. Very fruity; not much bitterness. Yeasty with subtle malt. Definitely worth a punt....

    Tonight:
    Krusovice cerne
    Robinson's Dizzy Blonde

Half the Sainsburys beers haven't been put out, meaning I've ended up with the mediocre sounding line up of maxim American pride, Orkney wayfarer ipa, harbour ipa, and Williams hipsway. All 5 months old or even older by the looks of them. Sigh.

Orkney Northern Light - pleasant pale ale.
Deachars Imperial Pale Ale - too sweet, a bit unpleasant after half a pint. The original is better and it's nothing special

Impale IPA - tastes fine, ok hop flavours but it's too sweet, there's too little bitterness. I'm sure this was better when I had it on draught

Wish there was an edit button that lasted more than a few minutes on this site

Williams bros Profanity stout - this is much more like it, rather excellent easy drinking and well rounded 7% stout. nice blend of malt derived coffee flavours and hops.

For £1.30 a bottle it's screaming good value and I'll be emptying the shelves of it tomorrow.

I'm so jealous that you can easily get hold of Profanity Stout - I loved it when it was in the Sainsburys beer hunt the over yr (managed to clear the shelves of it when they reduced em at the end of the Beer Hunt).

Used to be able to pick it up from William Bros site for a fairly reasonable price, but think they increased the price and the number of crates you needed to buy for free delivery

It's okay, almost good even but it's more Bring your Daughter
    than Trooper :/
