    WAKEFIELD UPDATE!

    He's added a reward to brew with him and Jeppe of Evil Twin. Also, be on the lookout during the next few days for even more rewards. I hope he adds a less expensive beer reward!

    I thought the exact same thing...you included. I'm sure the general population that inhabits BA and the other site have largely funded this entire exercise. We've probably convinced one another to buy in as much as Mr. Wakefield has.

    Might've worked. She'd probably start thinking something was fishy though when I got her a bruery membership for Christmas, and an el catador for our wedding anniversary. :wink:

    No way I'd get half after she took me to the cleaners.

    To be fair, she did offer for us to go take a trip to Miami when Wakefield opens. She shops with her friend, I drink floridaweisses until I'm unconscious.

    Should spring for the limo ride to Wakefield. Bring the wife, her friend, and a friend of yours. Everyone arrives in style, enjoys one another's company, then you dispatch the wife and pal to go shop.

    If there's any South FL BA's still on the fence here is my justification as I too was hesitant about $300. I figured 6 bottles at $25 was $150. I'd definitely pay $50 for an annual Wakefield party. And in the grand scheme of things; I don't have an issue if $100 of my money will help a great brewer achieve his dream AND create some jobs in South FL. The swag are just nice extras.
