    That picture of Gerrit signing a piece of paper and BJ grinning widely yesterday is us taking our first major step forward! Pete “The Greek” Letsos, the owner and black-belt head instructor of Rio Jiu Jitsu Academy has successfully outgrown his current location and was nice enough to ask us if we had any use for it. And we do! Say 'hello' to our new bottle shop and growler fill Dojo!

    We should be filling growlers and selling barrel-aged beer and merchandise from 1673 N. Western in the beginning of 2014! So get ready for lower ABV pipeworks beer! Stupid-fresh PW hop bombs and all the crazy T-Shirts you can layer on to survive Chicago's frost!

    Also, we have had many requests from people who missed out on our Friends with Benefits program in 2010. We'll be opening up ~300 spots for a Sloppy Seconds program with similar benefits at $75 per spot. Everyone will have an equal chance of putting their name in the hat and we'll use a random number generator to select the 300 names. Details of how you can sign up for this program will be posted in the next week.

    PB is a kitchen creation... some people are all over it, but we might possibly slightly agree that our second effort should prove more authentic to said kitchen creation.

    and we're usually pretty good at those second efforts. wait til we have the bottle shop open and we can experiment all over your asses, in a good way =).

    I agree with everything said. Every 2nd batch of all your beers are even better than the first, except maybe UR. That first batch was amazing!
