Depends on how many times this guy gets to the brewery.

Definitely won't still be there in June...maybe to consume there but not to take home. There's a 6 bottle/person limit at $15/bottle. It was still available this past weekend but I'm not sure how much longer it'll stick around for. I'm assuming it'll get taken down from the website and there will be beatification FINALLLY RAN OUT threads on here once it runs out.

lol.... that's gotta be baldo's photo.

this is a prime example of why i refuse to mule anything these days. it doesn't matter how generous you are; if you have a substantial amount of anything, it makes you a target of the entitlement mob.

also, as a general rule, guys, don't post beer **** of stuff you're going to trade. you guys would make terrible poker players.

for op: i gather it's pretty easy to walk in and grab some beatification. 6 bottle limit, $15 a bottle. it might not last till june, but then again, a lot of people feared it would sell out the first day if not the first weekend. so you never know.

The funny thing was...I was there the first day, and I was convinced it would sell out that weekend. There were at least a thousand people there that day before 4 PM. Obviously they didn't all purchase their bottle limit, but at the time I felt lucky to have gotten mine.

They have less than half a pallet left. Supply should last through the weekend is what i was told when i was there yesterday.

    I dont play poker, ha.

i was in line the first day (and came back the second on my way out of town). i know why people thought that way. i disagreed with people before the release, though; there just isn't enough demand to clean 12k bottles out of a brewery that isn't in a major city, in one day. the initial rush can be very misleading.

besides, after 12 bottles or so, how many do most people really need? (i realize baldo is not " most people. ")

I think a lot of people thought it would run out the first day. Why there was such a big line. But then during the week when i showed up the brew pub was mostly calm. People drinking everthing but Beatification. I dont think Santa Rosa is population of people who crave high end beers like most other cities. Reason why it has lasted so long. People dont know the good stuff thats in Russian River. Levitation most certainly knows what hes talking about. I know that releases at other cities can be insane and bottle counts like this dont last but a couple hours. Cali people are too laid back in my opinion ha.

Thank you for the kind words Levi.

In San Diego, at Lost Abbey, right now - is Frambroise de Amorosa @ 15$. Brewery only, once a year - I just traded 3 of them for 3 Beats.

They also pulled some Abyss and KBS, and in yet another trade some BCBCS, BCBS, KBS, and DL.

So - you have a desired item available for purchase right now in San Diego that trades for other excellent beers.

san diego has some of the best trade bait around. there's very little norcal stuff we don't get, but there's tons of stuff we have that they don't. i'd bet alpine or pizza port growlers could nab beatification. a couple of years ago, i traded a growler fill of stone irs 2006 for beatification batch 3.

it's not particularly tough to nail down a bottle or two of beatification. mostly the people complaining it's hard to get are asking for cases of it or lowballing. don't listen to them, give it a shot.

hearing that they will run out soon almost makes me want to go grab another six, especially since I just bought myself a chest freezer for cellaring and now have room for beer to be in cold storage.

exactly, aged trade bait is better than fresh trade bait. then people will have to bring out the real whales and they can't point out how it's still available at the brewery so it isn't worth anything.

??? I want to drink it. Plus RR is probably going to start making a lot more of this now that they have the coolship, so I doubt it'll be super valuable a year or two from now.

hehe, wales like cbs? i gotta say, from doing a cursory inspection of the trade forum, that i haven't seen anything worse with beatification than with any other recent beer. based on what my trading friends have told me, beatification can't even land some of the recent wales, so i wouldn't say its trade value is all that high, comparatively.

that being said, " it's available at the brewery! " has been the most hilarious argument i've seen on ba in years. and the backlash over people who won't " go and pick it up bro! " has tickled me to no end.

 it's a solid beer, but i think a case is plenty. then again, it's better than anything else rrbc makes, so i should probably stock up until the next release.
