Bourbon Hot and boozy are two seperate things I think, I could add 3 -4 drops of bourbon to any bmc and the bourbon would be more than noticible. The Abv not at all affected.

De Dolle Oerbier Special Reserva. Tastes like a 5% Oud Bruin, and then you look at the label and it says 13%. :grimacing:

Having just had one, I'd have to throw To Ol/Omnipollo Brewmance into the mix. There was alcohol in that???

I had one recently. Hebrews Lenny's RIPA at 10 percent. I got it on draft and didnt ask what the abv was, shew I was surprised when I logged it in later on.

Agreed. That's the strongest beer I've had yet, and it didn't taste anywhere near it!

Yeah, I didn't know the ABV when I drank it. My friend asked what I thought it was, and I said probably around 6%. When I heard it was 10% it was the most shocked I've ever been by a beer masking its ABV. After reading a lot of responses, I think more people need to have Peche n Brett. Every beer I've had that I've seen mentioned is boozier. Not to mention it's friggin incredible. And it's incredible, which is always nice.

That's interesting since I couldn't get through a bottle because it was so damn boozy. Wonder how alcohol is perceived in terms of taste to different people, but that's for another thread.
