I'm a huge fan of SingleCut, I was just at their one-year anniversary party last night and the place was packed all night. They just released a sour lager that is probably one of the best sours I've ever had. Their IPA's and pils (19-33) are unique and go to beers for me too. I rank them up there with Peekskill and Barrier - which would be my top 3 for NYC (except of course for Ommegang, Capt Lawrence and Southern Tier if you're talking all of NY). Many of the others I just don't include as they're brewed in Connecticut, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, upstate NY, Massachusetts, etc and just hyping "local". Kelso makes a few good beers, but many aren't IMHO. Sixpoint I just don't get all the hype about. Brooklyn is occasionally surprising otherwise pretty standard.

Agree with that, is a great brewery though. I was there recently and got to sample all the beers for free, lots of different styles and in my opinion they are doing a great job with them all.
