Let's get more people for the Single Bottle BIF. It's real simple. I start with a bottle covered, you find me and we exchange. Next person to find me, rinse repeat, until I am left with the last bottle. Want in? conversate me I'll ask what you plan to bring and add you to the convo for participants!

I saw on facebook that Cam is planning on coming to this. That means there is a very strong chance that someone could start off with a pounder of PBR and walk away with a mini-growler of Dirty Horse... just sayin.

You could set it up like a white elephant game. Everyone who is participating would wrapped up their beer and put it in a pile. Everyone then draws for who gets to pick first. That would pick a random bottle and open it up. The next person would then have the choice of taking a bottle that was already opened of take an unopened bottle. Once a bottle has changed hands 3 times, its done with and can't be stolen anymore. Continue till all bottles are claimed.

While interesting, most people will be drunk. The less thinking to be done the better.

Would you be able to tell the difference though?

Note: there will not be a pounder of pbr in the initial bag.

I can see it now. A big circle of drunk guys arguing about how many times a bottle had been "stolen". Inevitably leading to someone grabbing three bottles and sprinting off to their car.

Its also nicer to have people just find me so that were not trying to get everyone in one spot at a certain time.

Choosing between rock, paper and scissors was a hard enough feat last time...

I had a feeling that these were all going to be 1 bottle limits

Yeah. I must admit I'm pretty bummed about ALL of them being 1 bottle limits.

Its pretty simple. I dont think that VooDoo has the capacity to fill the demand for these beers, and they want to make sure they get them into everyones hands. I also believe this is why they release 6-7 beers each time so that its still "worth while" for people to go.

I agree. But it would be nice if they were in 12oz bottles so that there would be more to go around.

Definitely. But it would have been nice to have a "fresh" one and then see how the character develops later down the road.

A very valid point. I dont know about the logistics, but there has to be a reason that only Black Magick is in 12oz bottles and everything else they do is in bombers. Maybe that might be something that they look at in the future, but so far from their standpoint I dont think it matters.

Especially with them being such "Big" beers. I'd rather split a 12oz. with a friend on a random evening, knowing I've got another for a special occasion or whatever. Being limited to a single 22oz. bottle almost makes me feel like I've got to hang onto it for something special or invite several people over to split it. I'm sure I'll deal with it though, haha.

this is why I wished they were in 12s instead of 22s.
