I like a bit of port, know nothing about it though

Trying another sainsburys gbbh beer, Williams The Honey Thief. Better than gonny no brew that in the bottle, at least there is a bit of lemony bitterness on the end this time good thing too as it starts pretty sweet. Can taste the honey . It's not bad , can't see it winning though.

Scored a case of unlabelled Quinta de noval from work at cost price. Wish I hadn't been so generous with it as I'd still have some now 20+ years later.

Querkus smoked oak porter. Both the smoke and the oak are subdued thankfully, a good porter at first but it drops off after a few becomes a bit oily in the mouth.

    Hop Sausage! Amazing.....

I've had a Sucky beer, and am now on Brewdog's Mette-Marit. Not too shabby.

    good stuff

Had Harbour IPA from the gbbh, best so far nice hoppyness.

    Certainly worth a taste.

Also Batemans English B Bock. Not bad, rather sweet would be nice in a smaller bottle, bit much for 500ml. But lots of dark sugary flavours and a touch of sourness.

So far I'm reasonably impressed with the gbbh beers, they aren't exactly going to worry any craft beer shops but it's nice to be able to get some beers I've not had before from a major supermarket. They should really run this every quarter. Actually all the supermarkets should do this every quarter.

Infra Red is worth ago. BBD of August 2015 so hopefully pretty fresh. Tastes really hop-tastic and resiny so I think that might be the case.

Brewdog trying to open up in Cardiff. Coming a few weeks after the new Tiny Rebel bar was announced. Don't think it's a coincidence because they're a bunch of business wankers.

That said I will probably go if it does go ahead.
