I know this has been said before, but I would love to see Le Petit in six packs so that it could be the daily drinker (the functional and philosophical importance Jeff mentioned) the style/ABV lends itself to. It's cost-prohibitive (for me, at least) in its current format. I know it's not an inexpensive beer to make -- I recall reading the hops used are actually quite expensive. But even at $11-$12/six pack, I'd purchase it much more often than I do now (which is never, frankly). Maybe $11-$12/six pack it still too low of a price point to be financially viable. Any insight, Jeff?

Maybe they a 4/6 pack of 500ml bottles would be less cost prohibitive now that they're ordering that size bottle for special releases?

Good questions. The most expensive ingredient in Le Petit Prince is time. Our process is six weeks of primary fermentation, one week of dry hopping, one week of cold conditioning, then about four weeks of bottle/keg conditioning for a total of twelve weeks. We can't make beer this way and viably sell it at six pack pricing, especially when your average IPA is being made in two or three weeks. Six pack margins make sense when you're selling a lot of beer and making it quickly. Our production volume this year will actually be slightly less than last year (about 1,100 barrels, down from 1,200) because we're actually giving our fermentations even more time than before.

They also sell 12-packs at Spec's.

Saw this at E1G as well today. For some strange reason Twin Liquors always had this super cheap at $5.99. Never seen it cheaper.

Also picked up a 512 WBADPP and Heavy Machinary at d&q. I'd say it was a successful trip to the city

This happened to me with Whiskey Rodeo a few months after its release. I just happened to be in there the day he had some available

Not sure if anyone has ever asked this, but what is the story behind LPP Jeff? What drove you guys to brew a table beer? I'm sure there is a story behind this.

Just to update this, apparently Specs corrected their issue, and LPP is back on shelves as of yesterday, so I was able to get a bottle. Thanks for all the recommendations, and for Jeff's insight
