What is the recommended amount to bring?
    Two bombers? Three? More?

Haven't been to one of these BA meet ups before, so I don't want to be THAT guy....

wonder if we could get tasting glasses from somewhere... so people aren't pouring 9 ounces of a 22 ounce bottle and a number or people get to try it.

I think the convention is to bring about as much as you can drink comfortably. I'm guessing most the beers at this event will be 10+% so think about realistically how much of that you could drink and bring about that much.

I'd like to think BA's know better than that. In fact, from what I've seen, people are more generous with their pours when pouring for someone else than for themselves.

Agreed 99% of the time. Unfortunately there always has to be an outlier...like the guy who sauntered up to our table at DLD this year, poured half my bottle of CR into a snifter, and proceeded to dome it. Later saw him passed out in a ditch so all ended well I suppose.

I can see that happening on DLD, lots of freeloaders looking to get the most out of their ticket prices, without bringing anything of their own. Id imagine this event wont have anyone like that.

    Same. Just like threatening teabags.

I've found that some BAs are extremely generous at these events and bring too many to share. We then unfortunately drain pour several bottles or you have others over indulging and that's just bad for obvious reasons.

I say let's cap at 2 bombers, or this might be fun... bring 2 to share and 1 to trade. Fantasy Beer Draft...The trade bottles go on a table and we pull random BA handles for draft order. This way we try some amazing beers and everyone goes home with a new beer. Thoughts?

I forgot to make the event public. I'll fix it this afternoon or tomorrow.

As far as posting bottle list...it may be better to keep it a mystery. OR we can make a google doc with a password. If you are going and bringing a bottle you can see it. (I would organize)

This could end up being too big and then the 12/22oz bottles aren't enough to go around.

    Thoughts?
