Autumn Brew Review Week events?

    Anything going on at the bars next week for ABR?

    Last year there were tons of places having special releases!

    I know about the Stout Bout at Bryant Lake Bowl.

    Anything else going on?

    Oh, every year. I love ABR week, not sure if my wife does though.

    I am sure Grumpy's Northeast will have stuff going on, and I wonder what the taprooms will be doing.

    Republic 7 corners is having some stuff. I believe Thursday the 26th was the release of the new Ommegang "Game of Thrones" beer. Friday was a pretty big Bells event including Black Note, Hopsolution and a few others.

    I picked up a Hohenstein's handout this week at a liquor store listing all of the before ABR events during the week. Many of the events seem very much the same as last year. If you have a specific question, just let me know.

    Hohensteins set up a ridiculous amount of promos all over the city. You can see them all here, or if you are like me and like tangible things, they have these in booklet form at most bottle shops and featured bars.

    Crossing fingers that BA9K shows up in town and that the Bulldog Uptown sells it for $5 a pint again

    Coming into town from Chicago and can't wait to hit some of these places. Would also be willing to bring some good brews if anyone wants to do an ip trade bm me. Currently sitting on some Zombie Dust amongst others.

    I'm amazed at what Hohensteins and the Bell's and Founders people have been doing with events. So much Black Note around in the last year or so that I'm almost tired of it! Same with Bolt Cutter, Doom, and KBS.

    Just an FYI on the Rye Cappuccino Stout - it's the barrel aged version, aged in High West rye barrels. I was fortunate enough to have it at Skunk Train a few weeks ago, and it SLAYS!
