    Hi,
I live in NC and I go to VA sometimes. I wondering if there is some good beers available in Virginia which are not available in North Carolina. I only know about Sixpoints brewery and pick up some resin every time I’m up there. Is there any more?

Some places in VA get Maine Beer Co as well. The only one I know of from personal experience is Once Upon A Vine in Richmond.

Get some Alewerks Pumpkin. My friend went to VA and got me some and it's amazing.

Hardywood Park...if you go to the brewery. Really nice stuff typically.

Anything over 15% ABV, see Uncle Jacobs.

Yeah, but their stock is usually extremely limited. I've learned to never go to a shop in anticipation of buying a beer from MBC, because I usually end up leaving pissed off every time.

that's going to depend on what part of VA. the Richmond area doesn't see a lot of the Shelton Bros portfolio due to a franchisee disagreement between 2 different distributors... NoVA and the Hampton Rhodes area don't seem to have this issue.

Really? Is Hampton Roads the only beer that flies off the shelf is Lunch. Pretty much everything else sticks around a while.

Firestone Walker, Perennial, and Hardywood. I mean you have Alewerks and Maine, but Ill take anything from the former 3. Maine's hoppy stuff is good, but Hardywood's barrel program puts most of NC to shame, Perennial is what most NC Belgian breweries want to be, and FW is well FW.
