I think the answer is to allow fewer people in and remove the glass-but-no-Zwanze option.

Let's see whose opinion is going to prevail. You want the event held at Revolution, but the head brewer of Cantillon wants it at WLV. Also saying the taps were lacking is pretty outlandish.

Revolution was just an example, and the pre-sale of tickets isn't outlandish. It's kinda ridiculous that there's one queue and one cash register running to sell 200-300 glasses for Zwanze (and really no place to go once they've sold the glass to you). No wonder the line takes 1-2 hours to get through. It's just an honest suggestion, this event is bigger than the venue.

Also, I certainly didn't see $50 worth of value on things I wanted a pour of, but that's just me. Maybe "lacking" is too harsh. A more accurate assessment would be: things I've already had several times (Peche Mortel is always great), things that were left over from last year (Tart Lychee, others), things that weren't very good (esp. that Blackberry Albert and both Zwanze beers), and things people wanted to try that tapped out before some even got to purchase their glasses (Side Project Saison). Especially when seen through the contrast of the prior year 2012 - probably the Zwanze to date, Fou Foune, GI Laura, HF Susan....and wasn't it $40 last year?

I can be critical at times, but I think everyone can admit that there's room for improvement.

it was $40 last year, correct.

i think one thing they can do to really speed things up is to have multiple people handling the initial glassware buy, and make said buy cash only at least during the initial line (bottle sales or late arrivals could use cards like normal).

I think it was cash only for the line.
