Meh, no idea how no flights makes things run smoother in their eyes but I guess whatever works for them.

I was speaking about not needing to get there early like people did for the last bottle release. If you are just coming for bottles then you can wait since they'll be hitting stores.

Thinking of heading down solo, this list looks awesome.

    How?

If people are gonna sample in the 4 oz glasses (which I have a feeling many will due to the extensive draft list), they'll be back in the same out of time for more beer...The way they're going they'll have to pay again on the iPad which is anything but a quick transaction. The other way you'd get a mark on your card and continue on.

I'm thinking no 4oz pours and more like 8ozers. Just a guess but we'll find out tomorrow for sure.

I was trying to get this across (Below)

But... According to their FB sample size pours will be sold individually, so now I am confused of the reasoning.

Well it'll make them more money, that's for sure.

I agree. Plenty of room to move and having 3 draft stations and using tokens to pay for things made the lines move quickly.

I was tempted to take one of those cool tokens home to make a magnet out of it for my beer fridge

Those are some cool tokens, interesting to hear they switched to that payment method. Did they change their pricing for it?

Tokens were $2.50 each. 4oz samples were 1 token, 8oz samples 2 tokens. Not bad considering most of the beers were limited wilds and barrel aged goodness.

Great time yesterday at Kane. Everything ran pretty smoothly with the token system, and with one exception (Nelson Ripple) I thought the beers were great. Highlights for me were the barrel aged quad, Sea Change, and ANTEAD w/ coffee.

I have met one of the Kane VPs twice now this year, once at the AC Beerfest in Spring and again at the Pourapalooza at the Pour House in Summer. After the AC Beerfest I e-mailed him and asked to have my store put on their list to get bottles when they bottle their beers. At the Pour House I talked to him again and was told the last time they bottled they only had 72 cases for 50something accounts so they were only sending them to accounts who had gotten bottles before, thus why my store didn't get any. He also said they planned to do more bottling (more often and in larger quantities) but thus far I haven't heard a word from anyone at Kane that we might be getting bottles from them any time in the future. Guess I have to wait until they nearly double the amount of cases they bottle. And going by this list of 23 stores, there's nobody within 30 minutes of my store, JC of WD is closest, so we'd be a good/new demographic for them.
