Hopefully this hasn't been asked yet...I did a quick search and didn't find anything. Is anyone nerdy enough to have a fresh hop beer release "schedule" on-hand? As in, has anyone made a list by brewery, beer name, and release date for all the delicious fresh hop brews? Thanks!
The brewers are at the mercy of the growing season, so it would be impossible to compile a totally accurate list. That said, the first fresh hop beers started hitting the taps here about 10 days ago, so you can narrow it down to "early September through mid October" for the vast majority of them. Oh, and unless they're local to you it's probably a safe bet to add 7-14 days for shipping.
No one can even provide a few release dates for some fresh hops beers that they know of? If it isn't a useless thread about "what's your favorite ___" or "top 5 ___" then I guess it doesn't get any attention, huh?
Not even sure what hits the east coast and how "fresh" it is at that point... Deschutes ones are out. The best one i've ever had, Fremont Cowiche Canyon, comes out on Tuesday. Some other local Washington ones are out, but the big wave has yet to hit.
Ahhhh I see. I appreciate the response! Wish I could get Fremont. Along with Deschutes, they're one of my favorite west coast breweries. But alas, neither make their way out to the east coast.
RR Hoptime Harvest Ale was released over a week ago and Founders Harvest Ale is next friday? I have no clue for MA breweries.
