    Hi guys

I'll be in Boston tomorrow for the day. I'm looking for a place with the best overall selection to buy to go fresh Jack's Abbey. If you have a suggestion please let me know. My time is limited. Much appreciated.

are you looking for bottle shop or on tap? Do you have access to transportation? the brewery is maybe 20 minutes (half hour tops) from the City.

Fresh Hoponius Union in bottles is hard to come by nowadays. Doesn't quite fly out of stores as it used to, really need to check the dates as HU doesn't age well at all. Personally I won't buy it if it's past a month old.

Maybe if you live in western metro, right next to an on ramp.
Realistically it's closer to 40-55 depending on the time of day and where you start from. I made it there yesterday in just under 50 minutes from Somerville. I drive pretty fast. Getting out of the city can take 20 minutes right of the bat.

I've gotten from Copley to Framingham in a half an hour. Certainly not in rush hour, but during most times of the day it's doable. How did you get there from S-ville?

Perhaps they have a helicopter?

I think I spent about 15 minutes after getting off the Pike driving to the brewery. I came from NH, and it was totally worth the trip. They seemed like really good guys.

Thanks for the recommendations. I won't have access to a car other than a cab.

if you told people where you're staying or where you'll be it would help you a lot. "Boston" can mean all kinds of things

I'll mainly be downtown and can take a cab anywhere that is relatively a quick ride from there.

It's also very easy to get to by commuter rail. It's just a short walk from the station, or even shorter cab ride

Anyone know if you're able to buy six packs at the brewery yet?

I don't think so, I was there today and it was just the normal .5 L bottles but I didn't ask so they could've been somewhere outside the tasting room.
