Looking for a ticket. Willing to go the mule route (buy your allotment, bring it back to you to get in the door) as just would like to get another person in the doors.

 

At the XV party it seemed like every person had at least 1 case of Zombie Dust. I think this time around they'll be prepared to have a lot of it for sale. Anyone know if they're okay with bringing camping style chairs still or does that fit into the "furniture" category?

 

I would guess it would. Outside wiould be fine though

 

Thanks. Kinda stupid I asked cause it will most likely be raining. Standing in the rain beats sitting in the rain imo. They'll have the tents though. Rain or shine won't matter though, we'll all have a blast.

In the past, people didn't seem have a problem setting up a small shelter with some chairs and tables outside the gates at DLD.

Was there an issue with people doing this at XV, or is there the potential for this being an issue this year?

My group and I are considering setting up a small 10' x 10' shelter outside the gates to help keep us out of the rain (currently projected as a 70% chance this morning), but if this is a problem for this year, it would be nice to know ahead of time.

 

I didn't see anyone have anything set up outside the gates at the XV party. Not sure if they were allowing it or not. However, I wasn't paying attention to anything going on outside the gates. I haven't had the opportunity to go to DLD in the past, so I can't really compare.

 

You can probably do it in the street, but once you get to the gate you might not be able to bring it in.

 

So my tix never arrived and I called the ticket distributor who told me my name would be on a list at 'will call'. Has anyone ever had to go through this before? I don't ever remember seeing anything resembling a will call but was never looking. I have this sinking feeling I'm going to get there and those running the show are going to have no idea about any will call and send me packing.

 

This happened to my buddy at XV, they had a list at the gate, he showed them his ID, they checked his name off the list and gave him his golden ticket.

 

i think it was in this thread, but i recall reading a couple of posts that this happened to them. once they got to the door, their name was on the will call list. i wouldn't worry. worst case to be extra prepped, i'd forward your invoice from the purchase to brewery and mentioned that your name will be on will call.

 

Yeah, I forgot to mention that you need to print out and bring the confirmation email from the ticket purchase with you.

Gave away 2 RSVP spots at the Goose Island Tap Takeover yesterday, and the guy showed up with this bottle for me. Apparently he is friends with a brewer at Jackie O's and was given a keg of it for his birthday.

2010 Jackie O's Bourbon Dark Apparition in case you cant read it. Just tapped it the previous day, filled me a bottle. Very generous dude, cant wait to open and share it, bring some warmth to a cold day.
