2013 Sierra Nevada Narwhal availability?

This stuff needs to come north a little bit more and I'll be a happy person!

 

Any NH sightings?

 

Just doublechecked:
Both Union in NYC/Brooklyn and Boening on Long Island have orders placed and will have some by late-october at the latest. Union has draught already from my understanding.
As to last year, it has been mentioned in this thread already, but there were larger issues at play with the NY release last year, and availability wasn't restored until late in the season. As such, very little Narwhal actually made it onto store shelves last year. This year, availability isn't limited, and we'll supply as much as we can, as long as distributor orders are placed.

That said, if there aren't orders or orders get bumped, there's not much we can do.

was on vacation in Door County this last week and picked some up there, gotta say doesn't live up to the hype though. Does this beer taste better with a bit of age on it?

any Chicago sightings?

 

There is plenty in Virginia that I would love to come south, for that matter.

 

quit your bitchin! you get PLENTY of stuff in VA that we cant get in NC... Sixpoint, Firestone Walker, Troegs, etc etc

Having just picked up some Narwhal last week for the first time. My first thoughts are, "Who Cares?". Narwhal is decent but there are way better Imperial's out there. It's good but I wouldn't go out of my way to pick up another 4-pack. I give SN credit for getting me into craft via their Pale Ale, Torpedo etc. but their latest offerings especially this year's beer camp pack have been really underwhelming.

 

Wow, that sucks, then.

 

I actually loved the Camp Pack. The IPA was just meh, but the other two were exceptional, I thought.

 

Narwhal's been in WI for a few weeks now, price isn't objectionable (I think it's usually around $10.99?)

 

Its now in MA, seen it a couple of places. $10 4-pack.

 

Is it here in NJ now? I haven't seen it or heard anything.
