Meet up only, I guess. I don't know Nellies' staff

You guys should call them and ask to talk to their manager and ask if you can do a bottle share where you bring beers to share. Tell them that everyone plans on eating (and actually eat). Then all tip really well. (remember, you wont be paying for many, if any, drinks). Invite the staff to partake in the tastings.

Also, once you get going on a schedule, I'd recommend your weekly, or bi-weekly, or monthly meetings to be on a tuesday or wednesday. Thursdays can get pretty busy, especially if there is an event or concert.

Looks like you have a solid group here. Hope it works out great for you.

We started our bottleshare group out at Niche in Geneva about a year ago. We meet almost every wednesday, and its an absolute blast. If you're out this way on a wednesday, come check us out.

 

So can we confirm the number of guests by midnight tonight, and I can talk to Nellies about at least getting some tables/room. We could even meet on the patio, if the weather is good.

As of now, this is just a meet-and-greet to discuss beers over beers. 6 p.m. this Thursday (9/26) at Durty Nellies. Maybe we could discuss future visits there with one another and management, assuming all goes well. Looking forward to meeting everyone! (I swear I won't bring my chihuahua). I'm a relatively new member here, so any tips or feedback would be appreciated. Someone else is welcome to take the initiative, too, if you have a Nellies contact.

 

Just checked Nellies website (which I should have done before). Thursday is a Stone Tap Takeover, starting at 5 p.m.. Awesome news!

 

I will not be able to make it this Thursday. Or many Thursdays for that matter I usually work late(9pm) on almost all Thursdays

 

I'm not done with work on Thursday until around 6, so I know I won't be able to get there until at least 7.

 

I'm not going to be able to make it this Thursday, but would be interested in future meetups at Nellie's

Called Nellies yesterday to talk to a manager about Thursday. Got the manager's voicemail box...which was full. Couldn't leave a message. I then decide to stop by on my way to the cleaners. Three workers standing at the front, not one knew where a manager was. One kid went to find one. Comes back from the kitchen and says the manager wants me to call tomorrow. Wouldn't come out to chat. Nice customer service.

 

Would like to take your name off the above list, but I can no longer edit my post? Or any of my posts for that matter. What gives?

 

Updated "in" list. I will call Nellies today. At minimum, I can make a reservation for 10.

The consensus seemed to be a 6 p.m. start. Figured we could hang as long as people wanted.
