I will admit to being a little bit dissapointed though.
I'm not sure any of these really qualify as the uber sexy bottle that was specified in the rules.

 

Even though in the BIF rules the Coolships are specifically cited as "rest of the box" beers?

 

Ship them back to me then. Sorry your disappointed and thought it was necessary to air it out in the thread. Funny you dont post and participate but then decide to post this. Ill fix it though. Even though im not sure what i could send to replace a 2 per person brewery only sour Want?

 

Whoa, just wait a minute. I'm sorry if I caused any hard feelings, but it really was just a miniscule dissapointment, and mostly caused by my confusion of the rules, and my unfamiliarity with the beer in question.

With such a small bottle release, I didn't even research it when I heard about it's release, so mostly what I had to go on today was just that line in the rules about "rest of the box beers" in the first post.

After doing a little research, and talking with folks, I think I'm not going out on a limb to say that this was probably just an oversight on Olympuszymurgus's part, and that the Coolship bottles (with the possible exception of Ghoulship) are (now) quite sexy in my eyes, and something like a 2008 LP Kriek (bottled 2010, right?) maybe should have more of a spot in the "rest of the box".

Hell no; I want a Coolship. I just find LPs sexy as well. I probably have some regional bias though, as in I live in a region generally devoid of ubersexy sours.

 

Doesnt matter where your from you can just order lou pepe online so no worries about that........

 

Got a box today! It came with a pack of Oreos......wonder who its from??? I'm having technical difficulties, but I promise I will store these upright!

In the past year, one could also order Mamouche, Fou Foune, and I think Crianza online...

C'mon, seriously? You are going to complain about a box? I don't understand. I've never traded with the complaining recipient before, and I have no intention of putting you on my 'ban' list as I hope this causes no hard feelings... but that box you got was super sexy in my opinion. Even if it wasn't... don't complain. jsilva seems like a great trader and I think he probably put a good amount of thought into your package. Sorry you didn't get a Crianza Helena, etc. I feel nobody needs to make it right for you as that was a very nice box. Again... don't take it personally, I'm just sticking up for silva and stating an opinion. /endrant

I had 3 bottles planned for my target, now I'm scratching the one of the sidepot bottles and upping it to something even better.

Seriously, it wasn't a huge complaint, just "a little" one, that I was hoping would spur some discussion. I guess it did at that.
