    Bigger markets = better selection.

Disagree, we used to get KBS & Harvest in decent quantities prior to a year or so ago. I think it's a case of hype & wholesalers hooking up their volume sellers. I can't see that getting better any time soon, as Founders is getting into even more states:angry:

Not sure if it has even been bottled yet. Last year the bottles were dated almost a month before it actually hit retail here in MI.

Yep, i was told the same thing. Market Place is the distributor (out of Peoria, IL i believe) and apparently they told Founders to suck it on this one bc they wanted it priced too high. Not sure if the info i got is accurate but that is the story. So it looks like no Harvest Ale in the area this year, gonna have to travel to John's in Iowa City.

Was able to score 2 four packs last year. I have been waiting since then for more of this juicy hop masterpiece.

...a one bottle limit on Harvest?! I feel sorry for you guys, that stuff literally sat on shelves for weeks last year.

Drank three 4pks of this last year. Hope to have at least that many this year. It's getting mighty close to October, and I should see it in a week or two!

Well, honestly I probably picked up a four-pack's worth over the course of a week, one at a time. I think the owner's motivation to split them into singles was mostly based on his only having received a case of it.

The thought of it sitting on the shelf for weeks makes me want to visit Wisconsin, home of dairy products and the Goodnight Loving.

Got a 4 pack last year for the first time. It was great and hope to find it again this year. FYI in MA it didn't arrive until 10/24.

One of my favorites. Not overly hyped either so I can usually score this one without much trouble.

My kind wife asked at the store for me today, and they pulled out a list they got from their Founders rep yesterday with upcoming releases that said "mid October" for Harvest.

See if you can get a bargain, because it is old and is supposed to be enjoyed fresh. Worth a shot, but I wouldn't pay full price.

If you can't get it cheap, wait for fresh!

Might as well come to Michigan! You can get a couple cases from the brewery... $2.50/bottle, out-the-door. I you come for the Harvest Party, you'll get all sorts of rareties and one-offs on tap. One thing they made for this year was a version of Harvest Ale with all Michigan hops!
