That sounds right up my alley... Unfortunately not going to Michigan any time soon--and even if they bottled it, we don't get Bell's here...

Yep. Pretty much ideal cellaring conditions the entire time.

Gasp! Only a matter of time before I get it in Columbus! Unless it's here already?!

Wow, how old of an Expedition have you had before? Any certain age that stands out ?

Is it bad that there are two package stores where I live with shit tons of Expedition Stout just sitting dusty on the shelves? :astonished:

Yes. You should relieve them of the content and send two cases here... Pronto!

I gotta expand on Bell's stout line, have only had Kalamazoo so far (which I found odd). Can't wait for Expedition and Black Note!

We shared a 20 year old bottle with Larry Bell. About a month before we had a 20+ (kzoo will know better) bottle of Third Coast Old Ale.

I just saw a most beautiful sight! There were cases and cases of Expedition Stout, Double Cream Stout, Java Stout, Best Brown Ale, and Third Coast Old Ale stacked up for sale at my bottle shop!

I think this means it should hit Michigan shelves soon. Next week hopefully?

Second that. I've got '11 FIS and it is so tasty, but don't like it fresh.

I just enjoyed my first Ten FIDY the other day and it was a '12. Plus, just today picked up a 4-pk canned on 9/16/13. I really like this beer, but again I've only had one and it was aged.

Also had Storm King for the first time this year and wasn't impressed, but I'll age that one too.

    Really like Pt5 too.

Not at all a fan of Exp and even had it aged and still didn't like it.

Hated Stone RIS, but don't really like anything from them cause all there beers are too hoppy. Espresso RIS, was ok, but hoping a little time on it will mellow the hops, but need to be careful not too long cause Espresso will probably dye off too.

Just got Narwhal this year for the first time. Wasn't impressed, but I'll cellar it to see if it gets better.

I expedition the most when it's fresh.

    @ John's Grocery? I could use a few more 2012s to age.
