Hey according to Grimm's website they will be pouring some fun beers during GABF... https://www.facebook.com/GrimmBrothersBrewhouse/posts/10151877924881187?notif_t=like The whispers are true in our Brewhouse and here's the list of beers we will be tapping in our Tap Room during GABF week October 7th thru 13th. Monday-Devil's Riddle Bourbon Barrel aged old ale Tuesday-Once Upon a Time Reserve Single Barrel Sour Wednesday-Baron Berliner Weisse with Colorado simple syrups Thursday-Barrel Aged Wee Heavy Friday-Weihnachtsbier our Weizenbock Saturday-13th Door Barley Wine 2013 with German Specialty malts Sunday-Big Bad Wolf Sticke Alt 2012 Very limited amounts available from our cellar to your glass Prost! I also know that they are pouring this at GABF... Little Red Cap Altbier Fearless Youth Munich Dunkle Farmer's Daughter Oktoberfest Dragon Slayer Rauchbier Gustavus Lichtenhainer (smoked berliner weisse)
The weizenbock is phenomenal. It's one of the few US versions that can keep up with Aventinus and the like. Any chance we'll ever see The Count again? That's one of the best BA stouts in the whole country and nobody outside of the area has any idea!
So many unknowing, out-of-town GABFers are going to stumble onto the Grimm booth while waiting for the line at Crooked Stave or somesuch and be all like...wait, wut? Lichtenhainer? Fuck ya.
I'll add my hearty endorsement of the Wee Heavy, and the Once Upon a Time is a damn good sour. Can't wait to try that Devil's Riddle. Sounds wunderbar!
