I dont consider the 3 bottles of Darkness and the 2 bottles of 5 or the 1 bottle of Smoke as off the shelf (maybe the Smoke, not the others) The cans will be for everyone, the bottles are for trading for more DL.
ninja edit: I have bottles to trade for more DL, will have plenty of cans for tasting and sharing and whatever. 1 whole flat of Furious, and 1 partial of Coffee Bender, Bender, and Cynic.

Let's cut him the break that MAYBE he meant Darkness and Five and stuff like that. Because yeah, Bender would be a friendly "throw in" on a trade that moves a brewery release-only beer, obviously.

Lotta folks would take a 2011 Darkness for a 2012 Dark Lord.

Edit (and there you have it)

Ok fair enough. The reply to the guy only asking for bender is what threw me off in a big way there. You meant the second half as a completely separate aside to your first part of "I'll hook you up." Take a re-read and I think you'll get why I read it as one thought.

Definitely my bad on jumping the gun.

no issue, was trying to keep the dog from running off the porch. No issues, thats why I didnt jump up on the "I'M NOT THAT KIND OF GUY" post.

Any idea the difference between Cognac Barrel Aged Dark Lord, and Cognac Barrel Aged Dark Lord de Muerte?

The De muerte version is usually aged on ancho chilles if I'm not mistaken.

Haha sounds good. The good thing that came out of my errant comment was that you reminded me that I've got some Surly Five I want to get off my hands!

They turned people away trying to collect 2 tickets worth at the same time, but I know people who went through twice last year. It can be done.

guess it won't hurt to ask when I get there....sure would be nice not having to go through the line twice....it will also save me from doing some dumb shit for her in the future....i'm already hearing that i'll owe her big time

It says 1 per person... I know I'm being naive but that makes it sound like anyone that wants 1 gets 1...

Edit: Silly me. I see it now

I should qualify, as TapeDeck said above, we did not try and collect two tickets worth at the same time, but waited in line again.

Dude, have her take the car, and just come back in the early evening to go through the line without a real wait. My wife is waiting in line with us again. She's going to roll her eyes 360 degrees by the end of the morning. I will NOT hear the end of this, and I'm sure I'll be forced to go to the "Yarn" equivalent of DLD, or to some hideous wine and cheese event of some sort as a result. As long as I don't have to go to some god forsaken MUSICAL or something.

LMAO @ Yarn DLD. Also have you never seen Southpark? You should be trying to take her to musicals weekly if not more often
