Don't worry, I was told that due to a Buffalo Bills (pumpkin) recall in my area, New Belgium Pumpkick has sold more than expected....and their new winter seasonal Accumulation (a white IPA) arrived in our warehouse today. :astonished:

I thought I wasn't ready for cold weather beers yet too, since its still 80 degrees out here. Then we got Velvet Merlin at my bar, and now I'm excited for stout season, especially since I have a rye oatmeal robust porter I brewed waiting until the holidays. Also looking forward to drinking some of the big beers I've been holding onto all year!

You live for fall in NC--73 today! crisp cool evening. Wet hops and fall beers are now the ticket. Add College Game Day and what more can you want?

Thanks for all the info guys. Pumpkinator sounds like what I'm looking for. And a lot of the other stuff that was mentioned sounds really tasty as well.

Try the Warlock. I thought it blended the imperial stout and Pumking pretty well.

It's about 8 C (48 F) here near Vancouver today. It's pissing rain. If you like Pumpkin, then, it's time. I'm trying this tonight. A Pumpkin ale barrel aged in Vanilla Bourbon barrels:

I'd love some of whatever drug they're on. It's gotta be some awesome stuff to come up with pricing like that.

That one sounds incredible, though do I tend to go with something more common when it comes to blending.

Can I get some recommendations for beers that use real pumpkins and not the processed stuff?

Cambridge Brewing's Great Pumpkin Ale. I don't know if they distribute to Antarctica, though.

If there are any, they probably aren't even out yet. Even figuring they harvested the pumpkins as recently as late August (not likely), between fermentation and bottling/canning they wouldn't be out in most stores for another month or so. More likely they wouldn't reach shelves until November.

Never said it couldn't have spices, but I want one that uses fresh pumpkins from this year.
