I did not see anyone with their own growlers, but thats not to say they do not. Oh, Mark, if you are going to Eric's I have some Crooked Stave sours for you to sample fine sir.

They will now fill any growler. If it is not theirs they will put a sticker on your growler to make it legal.

Thought it apropos to kick up this thread again, as the Millvale Brewfest is today & there are four, count 'em, four more of these incubator breweries on the (possibly very distant) horizon:

Four Seasons out of Latrobe reportedly has approvals & *should* be opening in September.
Grist House in Millvale has an application pending.
Cellar Door in New Kensington & Outta Focus in (I think) New Castle - who knows?

If anyone hits up the Millvale Brewfest, I'd love to hear something about these guys.

Outta focus doesn't have much actual info on their facebook but it does say boardman. They look to be pretty much homebrewers. Except for the pic of the sour they brewed going into a barrel. Anyone try some at the fest?

They had some really solid beers. Didn't get to try any sours (if they even had any) bit did get to try a nice ass raspberry all-brett saison

Has anyone mentioned CoStar? Just saw that they're having a beer dinner at Up Modern Kitchen soon, & it sounds like they've actually delivered some actual kegs to actual restaurants & bars. Hopefully this means that they're actually making & selling beer for consumption by legitimate paying customers.

EDIT: My bad, looks like greg4579 mentioned them a while ago. Still didn't realize they were operational, though.

Anyone else been to Hop Farm yet? Their opening seemed to be quiet. Just checked them out this afternoon & from what I tried their stuff is pretty good.

I agree, I enjoyed hopfarm yesterday. I also went back to roundabout again and was very impressed again. They are rotating and adding new beers quickly there. I took home some
Of the wet hop wheat that was very solid.

    What's with the terrible labels/posters?

Roundabout's coffee pumkin stout is freaking awesome if you haven't had it yet.

Also had Hop Farm's Nut brown and it was pretty solid.

Coffee pumpkin is sold out till next week and I do agree. Hopfarm has solid offerings and has a few new beers coming soon. Their IPA is real nice.

These dudes are really cool. Chatted with them a good bit at a recent brewfest. Most of their beers were sessionable in style. Not sure if that was because it was mid-summer at the time or if that's gonna be their thing. Either way, good beer.

I echo the sentiments about Hop Farm. Think there is a black currant saison and a coffee porter in vessels currently...should hit taps in the couple days/weeks.

Also had Roundabout's coffee pumpkin stout, and that was absolutely delish. Could pick out every ingredient in the taste and the nose was just tremendous.

The 'Gristly Bear Brown' label may be one of the best things ever.
If they continued in the more comic-esque style of that one, I can see myself eventually becoming a big fan.
