I can say that one of them would be a glass of BBBW.

How does this differ from other craft breweries? Just asking?

It doesn't, necessarily. I just thought he'd want to know...

I've never had the BBBW. I'm very intrigued now...

Kuhnhenns BBBW is something of legends and gods. The best American-made English-style BA Barleywine.

100% disagree. Maybe the Pappy one from 3 years ago, but last years was terrible from Arcadia.

Maybe my bottle of BBBW was an anomaly, but it didn't blow me away like BB4D does.

Yup, it's neck and neck with King Henry for me

Kuhnhenn BBBW > King Henry, IMO. Both great beers, but Kuhnhenn BBBW is the best of the "style" I've ever had.

Never had either but I am a fan of the central waters version

And pretty expensive. I think Braggot at Siciliano's was around $10 for a 12oz bottle. But I guess we have to look at it like all of their beers are limited release specialties because, for the most part, they are! I bought Simcoe Sillier and Winter Solstice for under $9. I tend to wait for them to be on tap at places since the bottles cost more than the beer on tap (backwards compared to what I'm used to from production breweries). Their beer is first class, though.

Good move. Had it yesterday and wasn't a fan. Seemed to have an odd aftertaste that I couldn't get past.

I've never been to the brewery before, by my buddy Mcomben has shared with me a couple bottles of BB4D. Really amazing beer and probably the best Old Ale I've ever had. He also raves about the DRIPA too, which I've never had. It's number 1 on my list of breweries to visit.

BBBW in tap is one of the best beers I've ever had. BB4D isn't too far behind. They last a little while after solstice (on draft) so that would be the best time to try it because lately, trying to fight the crowds for limited bottles is hard to do.

You guys are being kind in your assessments. This was extremely disappointing to me.

Here to confirm this exact sentiment. Then again, it probably isn't fair to be comparing a barrel aged barleywine to a barrel aged strong ale.
