Otter Creek and Lawson's announce new DIPA collab

Heady really is tough to beat in all aspects but Double Dose is absolutely worth seeking out.

 

Maximum Beverage in West Hartford CT just got a case or two in today. 1 four pack per customer. With tax and deposit, it was $16.81.

 

Otter creek black IPA: $.125/ounce

 

For MA, per Burke rep, it will be limited to 1 case per account.

 

Should be in Apex in Lexington tomorrow. But, damn, this is probably one of the most expensive 12oz packs around.

 

It's on par with Devil Dancer, Old Rapsputin,.... And prob others I can't think of. It's less than Kbps, bcbs, and the like!

 

It's a one time collaboration, and maybe the best collaboration by anyone yet. Collabs are almost always mildly disappointing.No need to cry about three or four bucks.

 

yeah, I didn't think about those, agree. But those "the like" are in a different league, so to speak, price-wise.

However, judging by the figure I heard, it's going to be time and a half as expensive as Old Rasputin, perhaps slightly more. In MA, at least. I hope to confirm tomorrow.

Has anyone seen it in Boston or the Boston Metro area? Trying to track down a couple of four-packs.

Julio's Liquors posted earlier on Facebook that they have it, but hoping to find it a little closer to me than Westborough...

 

Wow! This is probably one the most expensive 4pk of IPA in memory. It rivals, and successfully, Evil Twin's prices. I'm not just bitching because it's too expensive, I'm really surprised "why" it's this expensive. About $19 for a 4pk?!?

 

I was able to grab a 4pk at Redstone in Stoneham MA for $18.99. Not sure how much is left now as I saw quite a few people grab a 4pk when I was there around 12:45.

 

Beer Store in Nashua has it - believe it was $16 for a 4pk

 

I was told from two stores that the beer rep said OC made an error and won't be sending any to this part of CT (they told me all of CT BTW). I guess only Hartford county gets some....

 

liqour world in porter square has em $5 each, 2 bottle limit, Craft Beer Cellars NE Annex Winchester has a 2-bottle limit as well.

 

Does that mean its $19 at Apex or that's what everyone else is charging so expect $21 at Apex?

 

i got a 4pk at redstone around 1pm. sounds like they only got two cases, and mine came out of the second case.

 

It would be $19 if it were sold in 4pk, but got only one case, so 2 bottle limit. 19 divided by 4. Not sure about your winking though.

 

gordons watertown also has 2 bottle limit

 

Good thing I bought some in VT this weekend (maybe should have bought more) ... It's quite good.
