So a German import remains behind a cardboard case which only gets opened at purchasers home. How does it develop import skunk aroma?

I lover Jever and have never had the skunk aroma. It is my favorite pilsner import followed by the super light Stiegl.

Beer can be skunked in the brewery before packaging.

I wish I had an answer, I've always wondered the same thing. The big euro lagers like Heineken that come in a green bottle have that skunked light-struck taste. I call it "green bottle taste".

Their plain pilsner is crisp and light. Great sessionable brew. They make some quirky stuff with flavoring I have never had. I also find it a great offering for my guests who tend to shy away craft but want to try something different. Still favor Jever.
