They were having some problems with tha taps for the growlers today.

Did get a case of ZD and bomber of Rye'd Da Lightning though.

 

I only drink Vanilla Bean Dark Lord on DLD and I only smoke the tops :0

 

Just find someone who will mule for you. Most people would just be thrilled to get in the door and still let you keep the beer if you pay for it. I'm not saying that's for everyone but it sure beats paying $100+ for tickets on ebay when the best part of DLD is the beer sharing.

 

Any liquor stores that carry a good selection of craft beers in the vicinity of 3 Floyds?

Okay so I havent lived in the area for too long and this is my first DLD. I dont know if this has been brought up or not but there is no way I am reading through 20 some pages of posts. Where the hell do people park? I was at the second brewpub ticket sales and the street before three floyds was already packed. Is there ever any specific DLD parking or do you just have to find a spot somewhere in a 2 mile radius and then walk to the brewpub? My wife is driving and I can already see the aggrevation and complaining now...

 

Liquor Stop on Indianapolis Blvd. in Highland. Good selection, Good Prices. Thats the best one I know of in the "vicinity" of FFF. About 10 mins away.

 

Liquor Stop is about $2 higher than everything in the area. They do have 10% off FFF cases right now though. Drive 10-15 min to Liquor Bucket in Merrillville, or down the street to Delocks in Munster. There is also Nick's on 30 in Merrillville with a decent selection. Wise Guys in Crown Point has good brews as well, but they have gone a little down hill the last year or so. There are also a couple hidden gems that I could let you know about via BM.

 

I only picked up a couple of these...one for my guy mjmadsen21 and for another trading partner. Drop me a BM if you want me to pick up more for a Fri/Sat trade...$15/bomber $4$. Kinda pricy, but for a good cause.

 

Is one of them the shop that had King Henry for cheaps that you wouldn't tell me about?

 

Damn, I wish they had the bombers of Live a Rich Life last weekend. They had it on tap and it was excellent. Hopefully I can pick one up tomorrow. And thanks for the liquor store ideas. I'll check one or two of them out when I get in tonight.

 

Quick question- If I were to go to the brewpub tonight to try and get some to-go beer would there be an insane wait to get in, or if just getting to-go is there a separate line? It's been a couple years since I have been to the brewpub.

 

If there is a large line to get in they usually try to separate it into people just buying beer and people actually wanting to sit down in the pub.
