Does this party work like the Clusterforks where we have one glass & get it refilled as we finish?
I really enjoyed how Zwanze day worked at Stone this year. I was able to collect all my glasses & sip on them flight style vs relying on my memory to compare the flavors.

I bring other glasses to Bruery events for this reason... the new glass they are giving is RAD though

Any pics? I had to assume if they listed "Crystal Black Tuesday Tasting Glass" on the items included next to all those beers + a to go bottle it would probably be kick ass.

I'm interested in seeing pics as well. More interested in getting them home in one piece after drinking a bunch of Black Tuesday:wink:

I'm confused... Is it actually a bottle of 2012 BT that you get with your ticket, or is it a typo and it's supposed to be a 2013? I wouldn't complain if I got a 2012, but it seems strange to celebrate the release by giving people last year's release.

    This.

But srsly, did I read somewhere that So Happens It's Tuesday is a lower ABV version of BT?

IIRC, the take-away bottle at the 2012 BT party was 2011 BT. So though weird, it's probably not a typo.

Alright. I guess they figure they might as well make the parties a bit more special, since RS members can already get up to 10 bottles of this year's version.

And yeah, I remember them saying that SHIT is a lower abv version of BT as well.

I thought RS can get 6 plus their free one.

They had 2 simultaneous release parties last year, one at Provisions and one at the brewery. One of them gave bottles of 2011, one gave bottles of 2012. I went back and looked it up due to my own confusion.

    Hope the bottle is 2012.

And if you REALLY want some more BT, I don't believe there's anything stopping you from buying bottles during the public sale/meltdown (which I think has a 2 bottle limit).

EDIT: Wait... can RS members also sign up for PS? Cause that'd bump it up another. Haha

Yes, I am currently a RS + PS member. Looks like you can purchase multiple PS memberships (as gifts maybe). They said they'd cap new PS members if counts got too high. I'm curious about how many people will join PS this quarter just for BT and then quit Q1 2014.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the intention so that they can do away with the annual website disaster that is the public online sale. Not dissing the website, I have had no major problems (just long waits) but it seems no matter what the traffic will cripple it.

Does anyone know if the Bruery will allow using another RS members' extra ticket to be able to bring two guests instead of one? Two of my friends are visiting that weekend, but we're only allowed to bring one guest. I'd like to simply be able to use another RS member's unused guest ticket, but I don't know if that will fly.
