What was the first beer you had that made you go "Oh...my...God. This is excellent." For me it was St. Bernardus Abt 12. I had a lot of Sam Smith and Weihestephaner at this time, and while those are definitley fantastic breweries, something about that Abt 12 just knocked my socks off. How 'bout you?

Cambridge Brewing Company Porter back in '93 was a revelation. I was already into trying new imports/micros at the time, but a friend heard of CBC so we checked it out. Haven't turned back since.

Three Philosophers. At the time I didn't even know what quadrupels were, I just thought they sounded more badass than dubbels and tripels. In a way, I was right.

Either Spotted cow (got me into craft beer, so I weight it heavily), or Nelson. Both of those beers I hold near to my heart.

I really hate to be cliche, but Pliny and KBS.

I literally got dizzy from my first sip of Pliny, and when I took my first sip of KBS I said aloud to myself while alone "this is fucking world-class".

Chimay Grand Reserve…thought I had died and gone to Heaven! Later I tried Rochefort 10 and St. Bernardus ABT 12 and couldn't believe how amazing! So many great brews out there, damn, I love beer! :stuck_out_tongue:

Black Ops 2011. I had Black Ops 2010 back in 2011, but it didn't blow me away like the 2011 did.

Left Hand Milk Stout - was also the first craft beer I ever drank but it was 10 times better than Bud Light
