    His brother was my MP, when he was FS he'd turn up to my local with a scrum of protection round him and you couldn't get passed them to go to the pissoir. He brought Captain Picard for a drink one night. Nice bloke, lived in the next street to me mam.

    Tiny Rebel Flux - a 4% Black IPA, extremely sessionable and hoppy as feck,
    Alechemy Black Aye - another Black IPA, a bit cold being from keg, and not as tasty as Flux
    finishing with,
    Camden Ink - a pretty nice stout, nothing amazing though

    That Infra Red was pretty good. Think I'll have the other tomorrow. And maybe the rest of the Sainsbo beers too. And FWIW, I try to keep all political views out of these pages but I have a hard time keeping strum when I encounter deliberately relentless nastiness which snuffs out any shred of courtesy and decency. It makes me as mad as hell and these sentiments are probably best summarised in Howard Beale's epic rant 'I'm a human being God damn it! My life has value!'
