Picked mine up at Castle Vav last night on Random Sour Tuesday and was also able to grab a 750 of Drie Fonteinen Oude Gueze, which I love.

Still Haven't seen it in NW Binny's. Ive been there every day for a while now, and river north has had it for like 3 days. I'm about ready to hop on the conspiracy train.

None of the three Binny's in DuPage County that I follow on Twitter have announced it. The ones I got Monday night were in LaGrange/Countryside, which I pursued on a hunch after seeing Archer Liquors had it. Different distributors at work, I believe.

For those looking in the NW burbs area, I have confirmed from a few places that tomorrow (Friday) is the day that shipments come in. Though, I talked to Scott at Binny's of LZ today and he said that they won't be getting any at all due to their distributor messing up their allocation. Supposedly, their distributor gave their allotment to another store already, that's what he told me.

DG Binny's sold out in 15 minutes this eve. Not sure how many cases they got.

Based on how many cases they got for parabola I'd say 2. But yeah DG binnys always sells out fast. Also he's usually the only binnys who announces a specific release time so that's more than likely why.

I have 4 already, 1 at beer temple, 1 at Binnys LV, 1 at fischmans, 1 at Capone's liquor and lucky # 5 at a spot TBA that gets it Friday. All the major craft beer stores got a case in Chicago so far and sold out the same day. I believe after Friday your out of luck in the city.

Hope the above info helps the fellow beer hunters.

In other future news, a 24 hour bug linked to craft beer sold in Chicago causes massive sick days at work on 10-4. Related to the same bug the caused the bourbon county stout epidemic.

Call me confused but how does naming the stores you bought a bottle at (presumably they are all sold out as you mentioned as such) and naming a store which will get it on Friday as TBA any help to fellow beer hunters? Not saying one has to help fellow beer hunters necessarily but you're suggesting your post would possibly help them. Well, unless it is to avoid Beer Temple, Binnys LV, Fischmans & Capone's

I world never say to avoid Beer Temple, never walked out of there disappointed. I just wanted to state the places that got their shipments and sold out.

There are a few places I know of getting it Friday, so I don't know where I'm getting the next one, there for TBA.

When I'm looking for a certain beer, I call all over. I was trying to save the same trouble for the other guy.

Isn't that one of the reasons people read these type of threads?

I don't really care if I seem like an a-hole, but really u needed to buy 4 bottles of this beer??? Really u had to be this greedy over a beer you hadn't even tasted to know whether it was worth it to buy 4 botttes of??? You know you paid at least 15 plus tax and more for each bottle that doesn't even reach the 10%abv? Really u need to be this guy???

ABV means nothing, if that’s a factor when you buy beer you might as well buy Natural Ice and call it a day. I don’t think 4 or five is too much. 1 to drink, 1 to trade, 1 to share, 1 to age and the other to hold onto for a bottle share or gift. Just beer geeking it up my friend. As long as you stick to the one beer per store limit, it’s all fair especially in Chicago.

binny's in Naperville is doing a random drawing tomorrow. get there between 2 and 2:30 to get your name in. I will not be going, got my 1 bottle from a different store and don't want someone to be shafted from a single bottle so I can have 2.. also it'll probably be a clusterf***
