is that so they can produce more? why use two contractors? i can think of some obvious reasons, primarily, make the contract brewers price more competitively. but i could also see the benefits of sticking with one and helping them to grow their business. is 22's at one and the four packs at the other?

It's because they are a Gypsy brewer. Kind of self explanatory...

I'm enjoying Yellow Cab Lager quite a bit at the moment.

I can't say enough good things about their Li'l B. That stuff is worth every penny. Amazing stuff.

That is correct - Jeppe owns Tørst.

I also believe that Jeppe is at least a partial owner of 12 percent.

I also loved Biscotti, gave it a perfect score. Yes I would rather take a Expresso Yeti and save six bucks. I also liked Yang also or what ever one was the stout. Yes again too expensive, but once in awhile it is worth it. Excellent beers.

How comparable are IBB and Yeti in mouthfeel?

Both really chewy and similar in carbonation and absolutely gorgeous beers.

Okay, good, because if you said that IBB wasn't as big and chewy as Yeti, then, no matter how delicious it was, I'd have to pass at the $15 price tag. Yeti is like my "must be this chewy to ride the ride" standard for imperial stouts. If it doesn't make that cut, then I don't want it in my mouth, lol (though I make an exception for Narwhal because it has some really unique and delicious stuff going for it, in addition to the affordable price tag). With my fears assuaged, I can definitely say that I'll be looking for this the next time it comes around.

I believe Bryan Ewing is the sole owner, have never heard anyone talk about Jeppe owning any part of it.

Dry hopping / Wet hopping imparts aromas. Bitterness comes from early kettle hop additions.

See, that's what I assumed, but then I hear other people describe it as a near-perfect smoked stout. *confusion*

Yin and Yang are solid parts, but as a whole are amazing. What a beautiful black and tan.
