I was just commenting to the missus that I paid £1.50 for it and it was very much good value
and I could have been fooled into paying 4 times that for a new world craft beer

Never knew they bottled it is all. Not even on their own webshop.

I must be mistaken then, false memory syndrome :astonished:

day off spent with eye test in Timperley Village then left with 25 mins before bus
so popped into bog standard StoneMasons who unfortunately no longer have a guest ale
So had a swift pint of Cask Tetley which I haven't had in about 15 years
forgot that Carlsbergnazi closed down Leeds
bad enough the Danish fuckers make their own shitty beer
but to fuck over a British brewing tradition.

So is the cask now brewed in Northampton like the bottles?
It unfortunately have reminded me of the substandard mad at Leeds Warrington
and half Greenhall Whitley, which I used to avoid.

Thankfully the local indie off licence/wineshop now stocks Red Willow

Might go for a 'Crafty Dan' tonight seeing as I've heard good things about it. Which is more than can be said for 'Fuck Off Dave' or 'Up Yours Gideon'.
Will need to conserve my energy though as I'm out at the local rugby club's annual beer festival tomorrow. Be interesting to see what they have on.

I've not had the Sainsbury's Beer Hunt Crafty Dan
The local bargain offy has three other beers by Twaites/Crafty Dan
Big Ben Brown Ale which was tasteless, 13 Guns US IPA which was pretty good
and Triple C which was superb real big hop flavours and just about a thousand times better
than the standard Thwaite's bottle of the same name.

    Thirst Place by Maxim
It's in a clear bottle and was one pound from Asda
I can't see this going to well

and great it's gone all over the computer desk
    it smells like bread
once again a beer that has a bit of flavour that is okay just not enough in the taste dept.
